Members

The main value of BAT SP is its members. Our members are given the opportunity to get involved in any project developed by BAT SP or to take over the management of the project itself.

Padome

The highest decision-making body of BAT SP consists of elected representatives of students. Padome decides on the functioning of the BAT SP organisation and changes/developments in the internal environment (changes in the by-law, organisation structure, approval of financial statements, etc.) The most important task of Padome is to elect board and student representatives to the BAT decision-making bodies, which are the basis for the organisation’s activities and for the successful representation of the interests of BAT students.

Board

The Executive power of BAT SP, responsible for the successful organisation of the work of the organisation and its individual parts, as well as for the successful execution and implementation of Padome decisions and assigned tasks.

Academic department

  • We represent students’ academic and social interests.
  • We listen to and solve problems related to the study process.
  • We provide representation in Turiba University decision-making bodies.
  • We organize educational events for Turiba University students.

Culture and Sports department

  • We organize various cultural and sports events for Turiba University students.
  • We take care that students of Turiba University have an active and interesting out-of-school life.
  • Our members are given the opportunity to realize parts of their ideas as much as possible, as well as being able to show themselves as a creative, original and thoughtful personality.

International cooperation department

  • Department which takes care of our foreign students so that their daily life is more colorful and better.
  • Integrating foreign students not only in universitys’ environment but also in BAT SP.
  • We listen to, help and defend foreign students.

Sponsorship department

  • We’re the only part that doesn’t spend resources but attracts them.
  • We are working with different companies, benefiting from different types of support for measures, offering promotional opportunities.
  • We follow that the partnership’s promise is met and that advertising activities are high-quality and appropriate.

External communications department

  • We foster and manage Inter-University relations by co-operating with Student Councils all over Latvia thus exchanging experience and organising common events.
  • We take pride in representing our Student Council at the events of other universities.
  • Active organisation and participation in charity events is a value we stand by daily.
  • The external communication is the one that works outside the frames – not only at the Turiba University, but also outside it!

Marketing Department

  • We are responsible for the information! The most important thing for us is that the students are informed about the upcoming events and news of the university.
  • We organize marketing campaigns for our events (BAT SP).
  • We are concerned about capturing permanent memories in photos and videos.
  • We provide an active flow of information in our social network accounts.
